Raffaello Cervigni is a Lead Environmental Economist with the World Bank, and the Program Manager of the Bank’s Global Program on Sustainability – GPS and the Wealth Accounting and Valuation of Ecosystem Services (WAVES) partnership. He has a Masters (University of Oxford) and Ph .D. (University of London) in economics, and over 20 years of technical and management experience leading large multi sector teams on programs, projects and research financed by the World Bank, The Global Environment Facility, the European Union, and the Italian Government, in sectors such as natural resources, agriculture, water, energy, transport, coastal zones/ ocean economy. Raffaello is the author or co-author of over 50 publications and technical papers, including 20 books or book chapters.
