Ann Makosinski is a student inventor who is best known for her invention the Hollow Flashlight, a flashlight that runs solely off the heat of the human hand. It won top awards at both the Google and Intel Science Fairs. Ann’s next award-winning invention was the eDrink, a coffee mug that harvests the excess heat of your hot drink and converts it into electricity to charge your phone. She is one of Forbes 30 Under 30 and was recently named one of Glamour Magazine’s College Women of the Year.
