Terms of use.

These terms govern your use of greentechfestival.com and the services on it: The Network, membership, the member directory, connections and messages, event registration and the application forms. The site is run by GTFN (Greentech Festival and The Network) ("GTFN", "we").

By using the site or creating an account, you agree to these terms, to the community rules and to our privacy notice. If you use GTFN for your organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

A written contract with us, such as a sponsorship, partnership or venue agreement, takes precedence over these terms where the two differ.

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address, so your account is as secure as your inbox. Keep it so, and tell us at info@greentechfestival.com if you think someone else has used your account.

You must be at least 18 and give accurate details. One account per person; organisations are joined through the organisation page, not shared logins.

Headlines, photographs and first paragraphs on The Network are open to everyone. Full stories, the member directory and the monthly market briefing are for members.

The content on this site, including the archive of past festivals, belongs to GTFN or to those who licensed it to us. You may read it, share links to it and quote short passages with credit. You may not copy it in bulk, republish full stories, resell it or collect it with automated tools.

The Network reports what companies, ministries, filings and publications say, and names its sources. GTFN does not verify, rate or certify any organisation, project or claim. A story, a directory listing or membership is not an endorsement. The free public record of verified claims is at esgos.org, which is run separately.

Membership tiers, prices and the founding rate are set out on Membership and Subscribe. Tier 1 is bought online; Tier 2 and Tier 3 are agreed in writing with the team.

Membership bought online is billed annually in advance and renews each year until you cancel. To cancel, write to info@greentechfestival.com before the renewal date; your membership runs to the end of the year already paid for. We do not refund part-years, except where the law of your country gives you a right to a refund.

A founding rate, where offered, is locked for the period stated when you apply and then moves to the list price in force. We tell you of any price change before the renewal it applies to.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices exclude any tax that applies in your country, which is shown before you pay.

When an edition opens for registration, you register from your account. Each registration is for the named person; tickets are not transferable unless the event page says otherwise. When a ticket type is full, you join its waitlist.

You can cancel your own registration from the registration page. Paid tickets, when available, follow the refund terms shown on the event page before you pay.

Dates, venues, speakers and programmes can change. If we cancel an edition, we tell registered attendees and refund any ticket paid for it. We are not responsible for travel or accommodation you book yourself.

By attending, you accept that events are photographed and filmed. Tell the team at the event if you do not want to appear in published material.

Members can connect and message each other once both sides accept. Messaging is for professional contact, and it is governed by the community rules: no harassment, spam, misrepresentation or sharing another member's details outside the platform.

You can report any message and block any member. We review reports, and we may remove content, limit an account or close it where the rules are broken. Every such decision is recorded, and you can appeal it through the community rules page.

Your profile, organisation details, messages and applications stay yours. You give GTFN permission to store and show them as your settings allow and as needed to run the service, and to use your name and organisation in the member directory if you make them visible.

Do not post anything you have no right to share, anything unlawful, or anything that claims a certification or verification you do not hold.

Nominations, applications for programmes, speaking proposals and partnership enquiries are decided by GTFN at its discretion, or for the GREEN AWARDS by an independent jury. Membership, sponsorship and partnership have no influence on jury decisions or programme selection.

We run GTFN with care, but the site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or free of errors, or that any introduction, meeting or event will lead to business.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost opportunities, and our total liability to you in any year is limited to the amount you paid GTFN in the twelve months before the claim.

You can stop using GTFN at any time and delete your account from Your data. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the community rules, and tell you why unless the law prevents it.

These terms are governed by the law of Singapore. Before any formal step, write to info@greentechfestival.com and we will try to settle the matter with you directly. If that does not work, the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction, without taking away any right you have as a consumer to bring a claim where you live.

We update these terms when the service changes and show the new date at the top. If a change affects your rights or what you pay, we tell account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use GTFN after that means you accept the new terms.
