Bracenet is a start-up with the mission to save the seas. The Hamburg-based project rescues marine life and preserves ecosystems by recovering ghost nets, upcycling them into products such as bracelets (the Bracenets) or dog leashes by hand, and donating 10% to their partner organisation Healthy Seas. Further, Bracenet develops preventive solutions with NGOs, businesses, universities and authorities; and advises, for instance, Lufthansa and Werder Bremen on becoming more sustainable.
