You get a first-hand experience of the great work of act GREEN when you are at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL. They are one of the partners that make the festival happen.
Act GREEN is an event agency that goes beyond being an event agency. Their focus is to make sustainability a true experience. So their concepts include storytelling and how to implement green thinking in corporate culture. And of course, everything they plan and do is completely sustainable. This spirit of act GREEN is all over the festival and we truly appreciate our partnership.
It looks like a wine fridge, but it’s not. The Plantcube by Agrilution is a stunning solution to grow vegetables, herbs, and salads at home. Plants grow up to three times faster than in outdoor agriculture. So there is a steady stream of healthy green food. There is no need for packaging, transport, or pesticides. Water consumption is 90% lower than on a field, and the only land you use is in your house or apartment. Smart internet-connected sensors control the flow of nutrients, humidity, and light for perfect results. At the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, we are delighted about Agrilution. Technology can’t get much greener than that.
For the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, as with many of our partners, travel is essential. We are proud to have Airive as an exhibitor helping us to travel economically and green at the same time. Before COVID, European business travel caused a devastating 125 million tons of CO2 emissions annually. Airive proves this carbon footprint can shrink significantly with smart travel planning. This is done with a unified SaaS platform available to mobility managers and their suppliers. It analyzes the current CO2 footprint, defines CO2 reduction targets, and automatically purchases the targeted mobility mix. (And also gives green transport a competitive edge.)
Together with partners, ArianeGroup creates indispensable tools to understand our world and how we can protect it. Launching satellites, for example, is an important contribution to observe climate change, measure sea levels, or instantly detect pollution. But there is more ArianeGroup does for green progress. Take hydrogen for example. Over forty years of experience with hydrogen as rocket fuel makes ArianeGroup an expert on this carbon-free propellant. Experience that helps to develop hydrogen-powered airplanes and other future-forward technologies. There is so much more you can learn when you visit ArianeGroup at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Green printing in all colors
The ARNOLD group is one of the most ecological thinking print- and marketing enterprises on the planet. And therefore a natural choice to be the printing house for the GREENTECH FESTIVAL. The foundation of the ARNOLD group is their Print Factory, founded in 1989 and focused on sustainable production from the beginning on. The family business grew from a one-man print shop to a worldwide operating printing business that is still owner-managed. Today, a growing team of dedicated print aficionados makes all kinds of individual customer wishes come true. With just one thing in common – everything printed is as ecological as it can get.
Leading through technology in green mobility
The root of our founding partnership with Audi is a shared philosophy. We both believe technological progress is essential for a sustainable future. Audi shows impressively how “Vorsprung durch Technik” works for a green cause: Not only by changing to state-of-the-art premium EVs. But also by transforming the whole production process to circular and renewable. Creating mobility that is manufactured sustainably, runs CO2 neutral, and will one day give back all materials for new uses. Besides, it’s cool and jaw-dropping. Look forward to stunning designs, amazing connectivity solutions, and fascinating features. We are proud to have Audi on our side.
Imagine architecture inspired by the spirit of the 21st century. It would require a human-centered design. Co-creation processes would ensure the needs of all people are addressed. Everything that is built follows the concept of a circular economy. This is the approach of Urban Beta – a group of architects, urban planners, and project developers. At the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, they will present BetaPort, a mobility hub that can be used to create efficient, high-quality, social spaces for the mobility of the future. Curious? Don’t miss the revolutionary concept for sustainable cities at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
A lemonade that is good for you and insects
BIONADE is a long-term friend of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL. They have generously given many crates of delicious lemonade to our guests and our staff. To quench our thirst and for the benefit of bees – with whom they have a symbiotic business relationship.
Almost all ingredients that naturally flavor BIONADE lemonade come from plants that blossom. And these blossoms are pollinated by and deliver food for bees. Ensuring that these plants are sourced from locations that have the best impact on bee colonies is just one of the many sustainable projects BIONADE brings forward. Welcome back, BIONADE and cheers to the bees.
Oat milk is gluten-free, vegan, and delicious. It is almost perfect. The imperfection being that it is usually sold in disposable containers. These can pile up to depressing mountains of trash if you are an avid oat milk drinker.
“Vegetable milk is basically just water mixed with enriched plant extract,” said Phil, one of the founders of Blue Farm. “Why not just sell the plant extract, let the clients do the mixing, and save a lot of packaging.” And that is exactly what Blue Farm is about.
Blue Farm is probably the youngest start-up at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL. We are sure our exhibition will be a great booster for their mission to make things better.
BMW has been pioneering electric mobility with the first mass-manufactured German EV, the i3. Now BMW is putting EV-production in high-gear, introducing 25 more fascinating electrified models until 2023.
And BMW is always keen to show the potential of electric drives. For example, with its wingsuit project. For the first time, a person in a wingsuit can gain altitude thanks to the power of an electric fan attached to the suit.
Be sure to learn a lot about future-forward and sustainable technology when you meet BMW at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
The Bosch Group, one of the largest global players in technology and services has achieved something remarkable. Since 2020 the huge company with a workforce of 395.000 people operates completely carbon neutral. The profound knowledge to achieve that goal can be applied to other companies with similar ambitions. This is the job of Bosch Climate Solutions. By transferring know-how and by consulting clients on their individual sustainability journey BCS is a mighty force to reduce carbon emissions. And therefore a very much appreciated exhibitor at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Our exhibitor BRLO is a very special kind of brewery. Read why they fit perfectly to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL in their own words: “BRLO is the old slavic origin of Berlin (easier to pronounce after a few beers). We combine the German love for beer with new world recipes. Our home, BRLO BRWHOUSE, is built out of 38 upcycled shipping containers. Re-using what’s still good is in our DNA. In the spirit of zero waste and with the Greentech Festival as partner, we are proud to brew a CO2 neutral, non-alcoholic Pale Ale. BRLO ZERO is the starting point for BRLO’s green agenda in 2021 which we will lead and execute together with our partner Planetly. PRST”
CONE PAL is a great example of how to find impactful green solutions: Just look hard enough. Here is the CONE PAL story: Most goods are put on wooden pallets when distributed by trucks. Each wooden pallet weighs about 22 kilograms. Multiply that million times, and you have the excess baggage carried around each day on our roads. Enter CONE PAL: Their pallet only weighs three kilos but is stable as a wooden one. It’s made of 80% recycled paper and can be recycled 100% again. CONE PAL´s pallets could save tremendous amounts of fuel when replacing ordinary pallets. We are more than happy to give CONE PAL a stage for their great innovation.
The idea of sustainability has arrived in the middle of society. So why not have organic dishes delivered to your home?

On track to go green all the way
Deutsche Bahn is a passionate supporter of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL as we are passionate supporters of Deutsche Bahn. What we love about Deutsche Bahn is their strong motivation to go green all the way. The goals are ambitious, and the projects to achieve them are numerous – 166 and counting at the moment of writing. At previous GREENTECH FESTIVALS, great exhibits were fascinating our audience. We were allowed to use trains and stations to promote our cause. And CEO Richard Lutz presented the green vision of Deutsche Bahn in person. Watch out for Deutsche Bahn at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL 2021. They are going to be amazing – again.
Famous for its iconic pink branding, Deutsche Telekom already started to change to green in 1990. The results are remarkable: Today all operations worldwide use renewable energies. Until 2025 carbon neutrality within the company will be achieved, and until 2040 this will include the whole value chain. There are many projects ranging from decarbonizing data-centers, recycling devices, empowering employees, and much more. In fact, we run out of space here to even mention them all. So have a look for yourself at what Deutsche Telekom does to advance green progress. At #GreenMagenta or life at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Today more and more people ask about the sustainability of cosmetics. Dr. Hauschka has been giving great answers – some of them haven’t changed for more than fifty years. A long time before the term sustainability became even known. There is nothing artificial in Dr. Hauschka’s products. All are natural and plant-based. 70% of these plants are grown in Dr. Hauschka’s own gardens. That’s also the metaphor Dr. Hauschka employees chose when describing their company – a rich garden. Where work is done as mindfully and responsibly as possible, where nature guides the rhythm of production. We welcome the pioneer of mindful cosmetics to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Dress & Sommer are pioneers in making buildings more sustainable. We are proud to have them at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL because their outstanding skills are needed more than ever. Buildings cause 40% of CO2 emissions. Either to light them, to heat them, to cool them, or to build them. Planning and applying sustainable technology to building- and infrastructure projects is what Drees & Sommer, with a workforce of 3800, do. They have developed innovative business segments like Green Building and Cradle to Cradle. Their work shows (among many others) in projects like Berlin’s Potsdamer Platz or Roche’s iconic headquarter in Basel.
E.ON is an international, privately-owned energy supplier based in Essen, Germany. E.ON was a pioneer in making renewable energy a choice for customers. Learn more about Everwave’s at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Imagine having an air conditioner that needs 80% less energy because it uses surplus heat to be powered. That is the principle behind Fahrenheit, a truly cool innovation.Surplus heat is everywhere: in production processes, in server farms, in heating systems, in batteries, and so on. To take that heat to cool things down is as obvious as the technology behind it is ingenious. And there is more to it: Fahrenheit needs only plain, climate-friendly water as a refrigerant. We are happy to have Fahrenheit at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL. And we applaud their contribution to a world without climate-damaging and inefficient cooling systems.
We are happy to have a truly dedicated company from the logistics sector at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL. Five generations of the Fiege-family have built one of Europe’s leading logistics companies. Their successful combination of economy and ecology helped coin the word “eco-logistics” by Fiege. Their efforts show in many ways: Putting vast numbers of solar panels on their buildings. Cooperating with others to avoid empty runnings. Together with clients they strive to reduce CO2 emissions as much as possible. Some projects are ripe to have a long-term impact on eco-logistics: Combining expertise of startups and internal data to gain transparency of CO2 emissions along the supply chain with the ultimate goal of total compensation.

And it is also a great source for the lifestyle that evolves around this new era of cycling. We appreciate what Focus E-bike does because we need more e-bikes. To commute in cities. And for traveling. And for transport. And for the older generation. And for much more. Thanks, Focus E-bike, for promoting this truly green way to get around. And welcome to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Imagine a bunch of students who decide to build the best hydrogen-racing car in the world. And they just do it. We applaud and admire the spirit of these students from the Dutch Delft University of Technology. The Forze-venture was started in 2007 and has built 8 hydrogen fuel cell racing cars since – one car better than the other. Many world records were broken, and many races were won. Forze is a stunning example that hydrogen-powered racing cars are competitive. And an outstanding contribution to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Paper can’t get much greener than Gmund Paper. Everything from sourcing to energy supply is 100% sustainable. And Gmund Paper is spearheading the development of even more environmentally friendly materials like hemp or straw. No wonder the family-run business from Bavaria is a long-time friend and partner of the GREENTECH FESTIVAl. Almost everything we print or pack is made of GMUND Paper. And Gmund Paper may not only be the most ecological paper there is, we find it is also the most beautiful one.
GOT BAG is a German start-up that launched the world’s first backpack made of ocean plastic. For each bag, between 1,5 and 5 kilograms of plastic waste are recycled. The plastic comes from northern Java and is pulled out of the ocean by 1500 native fishers. It’s a great idea to collect in an area where plastic waste directly threatens local people’s livelihoods. And it’s also great to give them an additional income by doing so. Benjamin Mandos and his team have already transformed 1500 tons of ocean plastic. And we bet they will find many more fans at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Among many other awards, Hawa Dawa won the digital start-up prize 2020 by the German government. There are good reasons for the praise Hawa Dawa gets. Hawa Dawa improves the air that we breathe by using big data. Smart algorithms help city planners, mobility experts and logistic professionals optimize their work regarding air quality. Collecting these data with the help of ingenious devices is a complemental focus of Hawa Dawas work. For us, Hawa Dawa is another impressive example of how high tech and big data are essential to change from ignorant and dirty to smart and clean. It is a great contribution to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL and to clean air.
The picea-system from Home Power Solutions allows homeowners to store solar energy in large quantities and for long periods. This is done by transforming surplus solar power into hydrogen. Hydrogen, that is put in tanks and can become electricity again when needed. So, for the first time, a house can be powered all year round with homemade electricity. This revolution will change the way we produce and use CO2-free energy entirely. It’s an independence declaration for everyone who wants to take climate action into her or his own hands. And it is a great and game-changing contribution to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Planes, ships and other vehicles contribute more than 20% to global CO2 emissions. To become environmentally friendly, they rapidly need to lose weight. Each kilo less weight saves energy and thus emissions. Hyconnect has invented the groundbreaking FAUSST-technology that achieves just that. Metals and composites are merged into a structure that is as sturdy as any competing material but much lighter. Ingenious connector elements make it easy for designers to construct anything they need. In the end, you have a practical technical solution for a dire environmental challenge. Which makes Hyconnect a perfect contributor to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Hyundai is one of the few car manufacturers with a twofold approach to green mobility. On the one hand, they make great EV’s like the brand new IONIQ 5. On the other hand, they have the NEXO – a hydrogen-powered masterpiece of engineering. (You will see the two cars at the festival)
It’s always fun to talk with Hyundai about green innovations in mobility. There is a fascinating combination of vision, creativity, and can-do spirit that doesn’t fail to impress.
It will surely inspire our audience at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL. Hyundai is another highlight to look forward to.
It's bio, it's climate-friendly and it's ice cream
Climate, healthy food, and delicious ice cream don’t usually go together. That’s different with KISSYO ice cream. Here everything is designed to be better. The whole production process is climate neutral. All the ingredients are organic, and there is less sugar. Still, the taste is superb, and you can choose from a yummy variety. So enjoy a new ice cream experience at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL and elsewhere. One that is not only good for your taste buds but also for your conscience.
To fully appreciate KnowledgeCotton, you have to know things. Did you know, for example, that conventional cotton production is responsible for much more greenhouse gases than air travel? Or that in arid regions, 2.700 liters of precious water are used to make just one t-shirt?
KnowledgeCotton is the pioneer of organic cotton. That means no pesticides, farming only in regions with sufficient rainwater and much less CO2 emissions.
KnowledgeCotton makes cool, casual clothing out of organic cotton. Clothing you can wear to look good and with a good conscience. We welcome our friends from Scandinavia to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
L’Oréal is a beauty company that truly walks the talk in green progress. Here are some examples: 78% less CO2 emissions overall since 2005. 14 factories that are completely climate neutral. Creating over 90.000 jobs for disadvantaged communities. And being the only company in the world that reaches CDP A-levels in climate, water, and forestry for four years in a row. Learn about Mattel’s plans on how to change the whole toy game with new sustainable materials and mindful packaging. And be prepared to see a truly amazing exhibition stand.
Merz b. Schwanen
Back to the future and beyond
Merz b. Schwanen
Going green sometimes means going back. Our long term partner Merz b. Schwanen did that by reviving century-old loop wheeler machines. Only these mechanical wonders can warp basics like t-shirts without seams. Merz b. Schwanen’s original, organic, and simply beautiful basics make reliable companions for life. And they have created a fanbase from Tokyo to New York. Merz b. Schwanen-founders Gitta and Peter Plotnicki are constantly looking for new (and old) methods to make textiles more timeless and sustainable. We are very excited to see what they will show at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL 2021.
Moët & Chandon is famous for its outstanding champagne and exceptional taste. The iconic brand also deserves praise for preserving all its terroirs and protecting nature for centuries. The quest for perfection shows in many activities. Among them, the foundation of a research center, dedicated to the continuous improvement of sustainable winemaking. There are also numerous social contributions from empowering women to helping flood victims. The motto of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL is “Celebrate Change”. And Moët & Chandon is the perfect champagne to celebrate a better, greener future. We are happy to have Moët & Chandon at our side.
The taste of a green lifestyle
When we first tried Mono products, we all had the same sensation: “Wow, it’s so pure.” Most other drinks are unidentifiable layers of sugar, preservatives, artificial flavors, and so on; Mono is simply what it is. And that’s delicious. Mono is not about compromising. Whether it’s tea or smoothie, everything is natural from beginning to end. Sustainability is also key when it comes to packaging and distribution. So no wonder Mono has become a big success with a new generation of mindful consumers. Try what Mono has to offer at home or at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL. It is definitely good for you.
Over forty years ago, coffee-making met its iPhone moment when Nespresso invented capsules. Suddenly, it was easy to make first-class espresso (and all its varieties) at home. Today, millions of coffee-lovers use Nespresso-capsules. With this success come questions: How sustainable is the capsule system? What happens to the aluminum after use? What about the support of coffee-growers? What efforts are being made to minimize the impact on the environment? Nespresso joins the GREENTECH FESTIVAL presenting new ways of effective capsule recycling. They are open to all questions while serving great coffee to everyone, which is an excellent approach.
Fashion-aficionados Stefanie Giesinger and Marcus Butler made a bold move by co-founding Nu-In Fashion in 2019. Nu-In Fashion is a fashion brand with a clear purpose: Producing great fashion at affordable prices with sustainable materials. Their main focus is on recycling. Today only 1% of all clothing is made from stuff that has been used before. Nu-In Fashion is changing the game with materials like recycled cotton and polyester, polyamide upcycled from old carpets, or Seaqual, a material made of ocean plastic. The results are truly impressive. As you can see for yourself at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Business strategies are usually boring to read. Not this one: “We will not stop until the last plastic bottle has left the production line, the micro-plastic rain has dried up, the last energy-guzzling bottling plant has been shut down, and the huge CO2-emitting bottle transport armada has left the streets.” O-VIVA pursues its pledge with ingenious water machines that make sparkling, cooled, and hygienic refreshments out of tap water. We welcome O-VIVA to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL as part of our green revolution.
What it is: The ONO is a three-wheeled e-load bicycle with a passenger cabin, a payload of up to 200 kg and a speed of 25 km/h max. As a pedelec, it can use bike lanes. What it does: It’s perfect to move cargo within cities without emissions and using only little space. ONO’s specialty is a modular platform – imagine a removable trunk – that can be exchanged easily and facilitates logistics a lot. ONOMOTION, the firm behind the ONO, was founded by three automobile experts who wanted to revolutionize inner-city cargo traffic. Well done and welcome to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
The idea is as smart as it is revolutionary: Keep food production in one hand from farm to table and you can be fully sustainable without any compromises. That is exactly what Organic Garden is starting to do. They cultivate all the ingredients for their products at their Organic Garden farms and sell them just around the corner. There is no need for long transport. The makers have complete control that everything is produced organically and in an environmentally friendly circular economy. And it’s delicious, too. We hope that Organic Garden star chef Holger Stromberg will bring some of his vegan hotdogs to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
OroraTech has developed the first global wildfire detection, alert, and monitoring service from space. This service includes real-time monitoring of wildfires worldwide, as well as risk assessment, and early detection notifications. The company uses a novel dataset, based on data from existing satellites, weather and terrain data, and integrated customer data, to provide event-based information directly to customers. Starting November 2021, the current service will be complemented with OroraTech’s self-developed satellite constellation, to detect fires even faster. All this makes OroraTech a very valuable contributor to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
A green highway
What was the last truly new category in transportation? The Zeppelin? Well, here is the newest: ottobahn. Imagine spacey gondolas attached to a track system lifted 5 to 10 meters above the ground. Gondolas that can make 60 km/h in cities and 250 km/h in between cities. Energy consumption is only 10% of electric cars. You may own your own Gondola, which can be parked at your destination. Sounds a bit fantastic? The prototype circuit is being built in Munich. And the makers are not science fiction authors but renowned engineers. And they are happy to talk to you and answer your questions at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
phelas was founded to make 100% renewable electricity to be a no-brainer everywhere on this planet. phelas is developing Aurora, a modular, cheap, and sustainable large-scale electrical energy storage system built on a new proprietary approach to air liquefaction. Aurora uses air and gravel as the main storage medium – both materials are universally available. This enables the storage of large amounts of energy at low costs, ensures high cyclic performance and excellent environmental compatibility. We are sure this ingenious approach will get a lot of attention at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Following people to make cities green
Where is the best location for building an e-charging station? Where should you rent your office space to give your employees an easy commute? And how should you plan routes for public transportation? All these questions can only be answered when you know how people move within a city. And Placense knows precisely that. Anonymized data from smartphones are analyzed and make Placense a perfect decision-making tool. Placense delivers the data that smart cities need. And the smarter the city, the cleaner it is, which makes Placense a great contributor to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
The fashion industry is under fire for its business practices. So why not reinvent it completely? That is what Plan Shop has done. Plan Shop is working with independent, mostly female-run artisan projects in developing countries. Together designs and materials are created. The mutual aim is to offer competitive quality in all respects. Good pay and high social and ecological standards are essential in this trade, too. The result is a fair and social kind of globalization that works. Even during the pandemic, Plan Shops revenue more than doubled. Plan Shop has a special place in our hearts, and we are happy to see them at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL again.
.planetly are idealists and number crunchers at the same time. Their aim is a carbon-neutral world. Their method is automized data acquisition that gives their clients a complete overview of where and how much CO2 they emit. Only when you know where the problem is can you do something about it. And that is why .planetly is so valuable for businesses that want to cut down their emissions efficiently. .planetly was founded in Berlin just over a year ago – and is already going strong. We are proud to have these green-minded big data wizards at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
PMC develops and manufactures components and products made of fiber composites such as glass fiber reinforced plastics (GRP) or carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP).
What sounds a bit dry is actually a contribution to fight climate change. The reason: These materials are comparable to steel, but they are much lighter. And the lighter the material, the less energy you need to move it. PMC materials used in rail vehicles, for example, make an already green means of transportation even greener. PMC is a company full of ideas, and we are looking forward to seeing them at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Admittedly motocross is not a green kind of sport. But it’s a lot of fun. And the guilty pleasure of our founder Marco. Fortunately, his pricks of conscience are over now. PohlBock from Germany’s Black Forrest produces the S210 – a completely electric motocross bike. The driving experience is fantastic. Torque is abundant, and there are no gears to fumble with. And instead of ear-piercing noise, you can enjoy the silence of an e-engine. Or, as the PohlBock people say, “it’s not about being the loudest but the fastest.” We are already curious if they will climb the stairs of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL by foot or with the S210.
The mission of presize is to solve the online returns problem, predominantly driven by the wrong fit – 50 % of garments purchased online are returned, resulting in avoidable environmental damage, great financial loss for retailers and frustrated online shoppers. With the presize digital sizing solution, users need to turn around once in front of their smartphone camera. Then they only have to answer some additional body shape questions to get their perfect size. That´s how presize prevents the release of 500g of CO2 emissions with every non-returned package. And another great sustainable solution at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Navigating to reduce emissions drastically
The more data you have to optimize traffic flows, the better. PTV has many data, and they use them so smartly that 40.000 tons of CO2 are saved every day. That’s more than 14 million tons a year. PTV’s software and consulting services for traffic- and transport management are in high demand. Managers, politicians, logistic experts, and urban developers rely on PTV’s expertise, ingenuity, and experience. Big data is a mighty tool to make green change happen. And it is great to have a leading expert on the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
One of the most difficult materials to recycle is brittle carbon fiber. This challenging task is the specialty of RESO. Carbon fibers are already a high-class material, but RESO managed to upscale it. This upscale product is called KOHPA. It is an electrically conductive paper made from recycled carbon and natural fibers. It provides protection and electro-magnetic shielding – for example, in 5g networks. It has other uses, too, for example, as an emission-free infrared heating element. We welcome RESO, masters of recycling, at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Less than two seconds to 100 km/h, 1.914 hp, a top speed of 412 km/h, and torque of 2.300 Nm. The sheer facts about the fully electric Rimac C_Two are awe-inspiring.

Turn-around for a carbon-neutral future
Fundamental change is a must to stop climate change. This is especially true for those who provide the fuel for a fossil-addicted civilization. Shell is undertaking big steps to become an agent of change. This shows in large investments in wind parks, charging points for EVs, gas-to-liquid plants, hydrogen production, smart grids, battery solutions and more. The ambitious goal is to become a leading provider of green energy soon and turn carbon neutral in 2050 completely. Shell wants to convince everyone that an all-hands-on-deck approach is best for the mutual goal of stopping climate change. An approach that makes Shell a valuable partner of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, too.
Škoda has always had the reputation of building great and innovative cars that are affordable. This won’t change in the era of EVs. 10 electrified models will be on the road in 2025. And the rollout of the first models has already begun. What we have seen so far is Škoda at its best: Brilliant performance, a love for details, and an overall design that always has the driver in mind. We are looking forward to seeing Škoda at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL. And we are already curious about what they will show.
So far green mobility has been a choice between battery or hydrogen-powered vehicles. With SolutionAir a new concept enters the stage: compressed air. Energy can be stored in vast amounts when you put air under pressure. When this energy is released again it can do a lot of things. For example, powering a car. Apart from changing a few details, you can use your good old combustion engine. And you need a new tank of course. Filling up the car with compressed air can be done swiftly. And you have an incredible reach of more than 600 km. That sounds truly amazing. So have a look at SolutionAir and their revolutionary idea at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
SOMWR is a special kind of clothing company that fits perfectly to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL. It’s actually both: a clothing brand and a movement. SOMWR is not only using certified cotton and pay fair wages. They plant mangroves, collect plastic and donate for education and clean water. They take part in developing technologies that increase the recycling efficiency of plastic and help eliminate single-use plastics altogether. And they have joined the UN Innovation Lab to find solutions to cut down on emissions. If you are about changing things fast, SOMWR is on your side. They call themselves the resistance of the 21. century.
“Innovate or die” is the pretty outspoken motto of the bike manufacturers and bike enthusiasts SPECIALIZED. When you look at their e-bikes you realize they are serious about it. For example with an e-bike for the road that weighs only 12,2 kg. Or a mountain bike with a powerful battery that will support you for up to 5 hours. The Swiss-Californian collaboration that made these bikes possible shows that high-tech can lead to high fun. Something you can experience for yourself. SPECIALIZED will bring a bunch of their bikes to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL for you to try out.

Imagine an e-bike without pedals and an e-scooter with a seat. The combination of both is Steereon. With a maximum reach of 50 kilometers and 25 km/h maximum speed it is ideal for cities. It’s foldable, compact, and light enough for any trunk or any subway commute, too. The driving experience is agile and cool. Steereon’s Model S even has patented all-wheel steering – which is not only unique but adds a carving-ski feeling to the ride. We welcome the congenial green pioneers from Cologne and their hand-made innovations to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Communication is essential to get green messages across. We are proud to have a truly dedicated communicator, STRÖER, as a partner and exhibitor. STRÖER gives us the thousands of billboards and other media we need to roll the drum for the GREENTECH FESTIVAL. A big thank you for that. And STRÖER shows how to make out-of-home advertising greener all over our cities. For example, with “city furniture” – like bus stations with plants on their roofs. Or by drastically reducing waste with digital screens that replace paper billboards. Or by energizing more and more venues with solar energy. Expect more great innovations from STRÖER and their partners.
Eating snacks used to be a guilty pleasure. Not anymore. From chocolate bars to vegan hempseed snacks, Nu offers a range of products with everything: Plastic-free, sustainably sourced, organic, and very delicious. The packaging is compostable, and for every snack, you eat a tree is planted. This revolution was set off by three guys who wanted to prove that something like positive consumption is possible anywhere, even in a field that had a quite bad reputation. Kudos to Nu, and we are looking forward to snack it away at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
There are several methods to move a boat sustainably. You can row it. You can sail it. Or you can attach a Torqeedo electric engine. In that case, boating is not only emission-free. You also avoid accidentally polluting the water with leaking oil pipes or while refueling. Equipping boats with electric engines creates new opportunities for public transport. Most cities have rivers running through them or are located near oceans. Old-school ferries running on fossil fuels are not only dirty but also expensive. Electric ferries could be a game-changer. These are all great talking points for Torqeedo. Welcome to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
The Werner Siemens-chair at the technical university of Munich develops cutting-edge technologies in the field of circular bio-economy. Using biomass to create materials and energy has many advantages: It is relatively easy to achieve carbon neutrality. Biodiversity and ecosystems can be sustained. And the processes are designed to be circular – so everything that is taken out will be put back to form a sustainable loop. A special focus of the Munich scientists is economic feasibility. So science can become applicable for widespread use. We welcome the team with their 4S mission (Science-Systems-Sustainability-Solutions) at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
The Twike-makers had to answer these questions thousands of times after inventing it in 1986. The answer is: It’s not a car – it’s a lifestyle! The Twike is an electrically powered three-wheeler that allows you to support the motor by pedaling. By doing this, you not only stay fit while commuting, but you also extend your range noticeable. The Twike is also the most radical way of weather-proof and fast transport for two persons. Everything is designed to keep energy consumption unbeatably low. And yet, it is a lot of exceptional and incomparable fun.
We welcome the godfather of all modern electric vehicles with their newest model at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.

Progress, that heating specialist Viessmann will show at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL. The game-changer in Viessmann’s innovations is hydrogen. Viessmann will present products and concepts on how to replace heat made by fossils with heat made by carbon-free hydrogen. Not in a remote future, but starting now. Not only for the affluent but for all of us. Viessmann has earned a well-deserved reputation of being a pinnacle of German engineering. So there is a lot of impressive green heating technology to look forward to.
To keep Diesel fumes out of the city, it’s best to keep Diesel-trucks out. The Volta Zero-Truck is here to do exactly that. It’s the world’s first fully full-electric large commercial vehicle designed for last-mile logistics. This means it brings goods from warehouses to inner cities without emissions. At their current growth rate, Volta Trucks will remove 1.2 million tons of tailpipe CO2 by 2025. It will also prevent lots of lung-damaging particles. Improving city centers’ environments where air quality is at its worst is great. And a welcome contribution to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Volvo was the first major car company to announce the end of fossil-powered car production in the near future. Volvo not only set an example with this, but the company also started to work on its electrified future immediately. Volvo cars always had dedicated fans because of their distinct features and iconic nordic design. We a curious to learn how the new range of electric vehicles and hybrids gives this heritage a new future-forward interpretation. That’s one reason why we are looking forward to seeing Volvo at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL. The other being that the line-up of industry leaders we have brought together would not be complete without Volvo.
Vowag pedelecs are probably the strongest e-bikes there are. They are as powerful as a small car with torque to up to 115 NM. They can go as far as 200 km before recharging. They can carry half a ton. And they are absolutely reasonable.
Vowag e-bikes are cargo bikes meant to free our cities from emission, blocked streets, and accidents. For loads up to 500 kg, this is the most environmentally friendly way to bring stuff from A to B in a city. Vowag e-bikes are safe, with four wheels and disc brakes.
They are fun to drive, too. Even if you shouldn’t have a driver’s license. Have a look at these truly impressive bikes at the GREENTECH EXHIBITION.
Today’s water is in crisis. It becomes alarmingly scarce and more and more polluted. Wasser 3.0 is a company that wants to secure access to clean water everywhere. To achieve that goal Wasser 3.0 has developed easy to apply technologies for water treatment. They detect | remove | reuse pollutants that are hard to catch. Pollutants like microplastic, pharmaceuticals, metals, or pesticides. Wasser 3.0 is a purpose-driven non-profit company. All they do is to improve the life of people in need of clean water. That is a great approach and a great contribution to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
These are two major problems of our way of life: We don’t work out enough. And there is never a charging station for our mobile phones, tablets, or laptops when we need it.
WeWatt has come up with a perfect solution to overcome these troubles: While you sit you can push pedals that recharge your electronic devices. You can do that at lounges, offices, receptions or any other public space that has a WeWatt installed. You can even work, while you work out. “Doing your bit and producing your own electricity is both fun and healthy. We are also generating plenty of social contacts,” says Patricia Ceysens of WeWatt. We are sure this will also happen at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Our bathrooms are abysses of plastic waste. From toothpaste to shampoo, everything is put in disposable plastic containers. At least with shaving, plastic is out. It gives you a gentle shave without irritating your skin or your conscience. Another plus: For every purchased razor WLDHO a tree is planted. We are welcoming WLDHO to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
