It looks like a wine fridge, but it’s not. The Plantcube by Agrilution is a stunning solution to grow vegetables, herbs, and salads at home.
Plants grow up to three times faster than in outdoor agriculture. So there is a steady stream of healthy green food. There is no need for packaging, transport, or pesticides. Water consumption is 90% lower than on a field, and the only land you use is in your house or apartment. Smart internet-connected sensors control the flow of nutrients, humidity, and light for perfect results.
At the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, we are delighted about Agrilution. Technology can’t get much greener than that.
Making business travel carbon-neutral
For the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, as with many of our partners, travel is essential. We are proud to have Airive as an exhibitor helping us to travel economically and green at the same time.
Before COVID, European business travel caused a devastating 125 million tons of CO2 emissions annually. Airive proves this carbon footprint can shrink significantly with smart travel planning. This is done with a unified SaaS platform available to mobility managers and their suppliers.
It analyzes the current CO2 footprint, defines CO2 reduction targets, and automatically purchases the targeted mobility mix. (And also gives green transport a competitive edge.)
apd Architektur + Ingenieurbüro
Building it better and greener
apd Architektur + Ingenieurbüro
Building sustainably is essential in today’s world. A key objective is to minimize energy consumption and make considerate use of valuable resources.
They are architects who successfully realize green concepts mainly concentrating on office and administrative buildings. They aim to deliver sophisticated architecture despite fulfilling high ecological demands like energy efficiency.
There are many examples how well their ideas work. To mention just one: a Gold Certification for sustainability for a newly built fire station in Lahntal-Caldern, Germany. We are happy to welcome apd for the first time to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Green printing in all colors
The ARNOLD group is one of the most ecological thinking print- and marketing enterprises on the planet. And therefore a natural choice to be the printing house for the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
The foundation of the ARNOLD group is their Print Factory, founded in 1989 and focused on sustainable production from the beginning on. The family business grew from a one-man print shop to a worldwide operating printing business that is still owner-managed.
Today, a growing team of dedicated print aficionados makes all kinds of individual customer wishes come true. With just one thing in common – everything printed is as ecological as it can get.
ASC Services Deutschland GmbH
The ecofriendly jetski
ASC Services Deutschland GmbH
Riding jet skis on the water is undoubtedly fun. However, riding jet skis also leaves a huge carbon footprint because they all use combustion engines until now. So why not combine the emission-free ride of an electric boat with the fun of a jet ski?
That’s the idea behind ASC. It looks good, it’s up to 30 km/h fast, it has an eco-friendly electric drive, and it is great fun. It could be a hobby for everyone since no boat license is necessary.
The makers of ASC worked for eight years from the first sketch to the ready-for-sale product. Have a look at this amazing machine at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.

Green energy anywhere
The AXSOL-team is made of pioneers, optimists, realists, idealists, and lateral thinkers who are shaping the energy provision of tomorrow through new innovative ideas.
One of them is a powerful compact battery that can be charged with solar panels. In the ebola crisis of 2012, AXSOL shipped the first fully self-sufficient portable solar systems to Africa to bridge power outages in mobile field hospitals.
More products and innovations are already available or soon to come—for example, a solution to make the production of feature films greener.
We are looking forward to seeing AXSOL at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Wrap it naturally
Everyone talks about plastic and how to avoid it. Beeskin is a company that gives you great alternatives to plastic in your daily life.
Take their Beeswax food wrappings, for example. They are purely natural, guaranteed to be reusable for over a year, washable, and easily disposed of. So forget plastic and aluminum foils. Wrap, rinse and reuse your Beeswax instead to keep your food fresh.
And that’s just one product. Beeskin also offers all-natural towels, vegan sponges, and more. Beeskin from our native Berlin is a wonderful example of how mindfulness and innovation can go together. We are happy to see them at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
A future-forward mobility hub
Imagine architecture inspired by the spirit of the 21st century. It would require a human-centered design.
Co-creation processes would ensure the needs of all people are addressed. Everything that is built follows the concept of a circular economy. This is the approach of Urban Beta – a group of architects, urban planners, and project developers. At the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, they will present BetaPort, a mobility hub that can be used to create efficient, high-quality, social spaces for the mobility of the future.
Curious? Don’t miss the revolutionary concept for sustainable cities at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.

A lemonade that is good for you and insects
BIONADE is a long-term friend of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL. They have generously given many crates of delicious lemonade to our guests and our staff. To quench our thirst and for the benefit of bees – with whom they have a symbiotic business relationship.
Almost all ingredients that naturally flavor BIONADE lemonade come from plants that blossom. And these blossoms are pollinated by and deliver food for bees. Ensuring that these plants are sourced from locations that have the best impact on bee colonies is just one of the many sustainable projects BIONADE brings forward.
Welcome back, BIONADE and cheers to the bees.
Urban premium electric mobility
The idea of how we will live and move around in the future is both challenging and fascinating: How will society, our living conditions, the economy and our mobility change? What opportunities will new technologies open up for us? What role do digitalization and connectivity play in terms of our mobility needs?
BMW Motorrad is making significant contributions with new, innovative single-track concepts. The brand stands for innovation and design leadership in the field of urban premium electric mobility and aims to further expand this leadership role.

Storing and using CO2
The GREENTECH FESTIVAL is a launchpad for start-ups with groundbreaking sustainable innovations.
Carbonauten is definitely one of them. Imagine a material with two outstanding advantages: When making it, vast amounts of CO2 are blocked out of the atmosphere, and clean energy is produced simultaneously.
Every second, one garbage truck of textiles is landfilled or incinerated.
Driven by fashion overconsumption, cheap production and dropping prices, the fashion industry is responsible for more CO2 emissions than the shipping and airplane industries combined.
For this years GREENTECH FETSIVAL the fashion rental app CLOTHESfriends joins forces with Staiy, the online marketplace and destination for sustainable lifestyle. By visualizing the impact of the fashion industry, the aim is to create awareness for circular, conscious and smarter shopping alternatives.

The founders have already proven that they can bring big ideas to life, and an international team is helping them to do just that. Meet the Dance people at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Sustainable merchandising products
Merchandise, aka known as merch, is often stuff produced as cheaply as possible with no sustainable thinking at all. But does it have to be that way? No! Das Merch shows that you can make high-quality merchandise with every single piece produced sustainably and under fair conditions.
Moreover, Das Merch is probably the only company in the industry that follows UN sustainability goals. No wonder we at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL are great fans of Das Merch. They make almost everything we sell. And we are happy to have them not only at our own shop with our festival merch but also as an exhibitor at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
On track to go green all the way
Deutsche Bahn is a passionate supporter of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL and represents the strong motivation to consistently continue on the path of environmental responsibility.
Achieving climate neutrality by 2040 describes one of the primary goals, making every single project exciting for the GTF. This year there will also be some unique opportunities to use the great exhibits of Deutsche Bahn to fascinate the audience as in previous years.
Green transformation at DB is not limited to making its entire product and service offering more environmentally friendly.
We are happy to welcome Deutsche Bahn at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL 2022.
Why Magenta is green
Famous for its iconic pink branding, Deutsche Telekom already started to change to green in 1990. The results are remarkable: Today all operations worldwide use renewable energies.
Carbon neutrality within the company will be achieved and this will include the whole value chain. There are many projects ranging from decarbonizing data-centers, recycling devices, empowering employees, and much more. In fact, we run out of space here to even mention them all.
So have a look for yourself at what Deutsche Telekom does to advance green progress. So we are happy to welcome Deutsche Telekom again this year.
Digital Hub Initiative
Connecting for green progress
Digital Hub Initiative
Suppose you want to achieve something, just bring the right people together. If you’re going to do that on a big scale, bring startups and corporates together.
This is precisely what the Digital Hub Initiative is doing. They connect SMEs and corporates with innovation partners from science and the startup scene. Twelve digital hubs form a strong network that promotes the exchange of technical and business expertise, thus enabling green innovation.
One example of how this works: A startup and a world market leader are working together to maintain bio-diversity with the help of AI. There are many projects like this. Do you want to join? Get in touch at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
A car made by space
With the Safe Light Regional Vehicle (SLRV), the German Aerospace Center (DLR) has developed a new type of small vehicle: It is very light and, at the same time, exceptionally safe. This is ensured by the sandwich construction body, which weighs only around 90 kilograms and offers a very high level of passive safety.
This innovative lightweight construction approach, combined with a highly efficient fuel cell drive, enables safe mobility that conserves resources.
The SLRV is just another example of the many technologically driven green projects of DLR. So prepare to be amazed if you visit their stand at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Pioneering mindful cosmetics
Today more and more people ask about the sustainability of cosmetics.
Dr. Hauschka has been giving great answers – some of them haven’t changed for more than fifty years. A long time before the term sustainability became even known. There is nothing artificial in Dr. Hauschka’s products. All are natural and plant-based. 70% of these plants are grown in Dr. Hauschka’s own gardens. That’s also the metaphor Dr. Hauschka employees chose when describing their company – a rich garden.
Where work is done as mindfully and responsibly as possible, where nature guides the rhythm of production. We welcome the pioneer of mindful cosmetics to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.

High-tech for green mobility
e.Volution GmbH, based in Aachen, Germany, develops, produces, and operates Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) systems consisting of hardware and software components for mobility operators.
In addition to developing and producing innovative special vehicles, the company also offers operating systems and holistic integration into mobility ecosystems. More than 30 employees use the research and infrastructure of the RWTH Aachen Campus, a network of science and business with over 420 technology companies, in their work.
The goal is to contribute to a breakthrough to comprehensive sustainability in mobility. The focus is on the three factors of individuality, ecology, and economy in mobility. This high-tech approach to transforming mobility is yet another excellent example of ingenuity at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Making concrete climate-friendly
Concrete is the second-most consumed material on earth after water. Until 2050, the world will use concrete, equalling another New York City every month. Yet, the production of cement clinker, the critical ingredient of concrete, is responsible for 8% of global greenhouse gas emissions.
Without a change in production techniques, this number is expected to double by 2060. Therefore the people from ecoLocked dedicate their work to developing a scalable decarbonization approach for concrete based on carbon capture. ecoLocked aims not only to reduce CO2 in concrete products but soon provide carbon-negative concrete mixes.
Making significant contributions for achieving carbon neutrality makes ecoLocked a welcome exhibitor at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Smart solutions for smart cities
Imagine a city with no traffic jams, no smog, no noise. A city with parks instead of parking lots and plenty of free space currently occupied by traffic.
Making this dream come true is the vision of the makers of the EDAG CityBots. The CityBots are unique, fuel-cell-driven vehicles that are incredibly versatile. From carrying passengers to transporting goods to cleaning the city – everything is possible with the proper setup of the CityBots.
This revolutionary concept has so many advantages, there is not nearly enough space to describe them here. So, you better have a look for yourself at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.

The e-bike motorbike
One could say the eRockit is the most powerful e-bike ever built. Or one could say it is the only electric motorbike with pedals.
Either way, you see it, the eRockit rocks: With a maximum speed of 90 km/h, a range of 120 km, and a design that makes it look like a cruiser from a galaxy far, far away. What’s also special: Despite its tremendous power, there is no throttle grip; you control the speed merely through pedaling.
Driving the eRockit is truly a new dimension of moving on two wheels. We are sure you will agree when you see the eRockit at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Cleaning oceans with passion
Next to climate change, plastic waste is the most dangerous threat to our oceans. Therefore we applaud our exhibitor, Everwave, for taking action.
Everwave is a tech company that uses state-of-the-art technology to collect plastic waste with boats. And a movement that inspires others to join the fight. Everwave gives a great example of how to use technology and software for a green cause. With the help of AI, rubbish hot spots are detected and removed. The waste is then recycled into new products using thermochemical, mechanical, and biotechnical processes.
Learn more about Everwave at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.

Evum Motors is the spin-off of a visionary research project at the Technical University of Munich that became a successful start-up. Just the kind of company we love at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
FFBS – Fashion For Biodiversity Solutions GmbH
Fashion for biodiversity
FFBS – Fashion For Biodiversity Solutions GmbH
The fashion industry causes more CO2 emissions than air travel and marine transport combined. Furthermore, fashion production is one of the biggest foes of biodiversity.
But while the damage done is being tracked in other industries and harm can be reduced, it is hard to localize the impact of specific clothing on the environment precisely. FFBS is here to change that. Using state-of-the-art blockchain technology, every bit and piece of a fashion article can be traced from the origin until it is deposed.
This could become a mighty tool to make fashion genuinely green. We are happy to give FFBS a stage for their innovative project at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
How to get clean and green
Care products usually consist of up to 90% water. With FUTURE STORIES, this water is added at your home and doesn’t have to be shipped across the country.
And that’s how it works: FUTURE STORIES has developed a powder that, when added to water, is easily transformed into regular shower gel or liquid soap with the usual gel texture. That is a quantum leap in saving CO2 and packaging for hygiene products.
And there are more FUTURE STORIES: Entirely sustainable cosmetics, a tree planted for every refill and more. See for yourself what awesome innovations this truly future-forward company has to offer at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Starting up green change
Did you know that one-third of startups in Germany contribute to the sustainable transformation of the German economy?

So green and so beautiful
Paper can’t get much greener than Gmund Paper. Everything from sourcing to energy supply is 100% sustainable. And Gmund Paper is spearheading the development of even more environmentally friendly materials like hemp or straw.
No wonder the family-run business from Bavaria is a long-time friend and partner of the GREENTECH FESTIVAl. Almost everything we print or pack is made of GMUND Paper.
And Gmund Paper may not only be the most ecological paper there is, we find it is also the most beautiful one.
The bag that makes a difference
It´s good not to use single-use bags. However, it´s even better if you use a bag like goodbag. Here you don´t only avoid waste, you contribute to something positive.
For every goodbag sold, a tree is planted. The goodbag makers support One Earth – One Ocean, an organization that is on a mission to take plastic out of the sea. If you join the goodbag movement, you will find plenty of opportunities to do good on their app.
They are made of top-quality sustainable materials and have designs that are adorable and outspoken at the same time.
Have a look at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Going ahead in sustainability
Google has a well-earned reputation for being a frontrunner. Did you know, for example, that Google was climate neutral in 2007 already? So whatever Google service you use, you can be sure to do it without leaving a carbon footprint.
But, of course, Google wouldn´t be Google if they weren’t thinking ahead using their enormous data power to leverage green progress. For example, by assisting 500 cities measure, track, and reduce an aggregate of 1 gigaton of carbon emission by 2030. Or by adding features to their core products to help 1 billion people reduce their environmental footprint.
We are sure you will learn a when you visit Google at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Tiny houses for sustainable living
Tiny Houses combine sustainability with affordable living space. Green mobile is an innovative and spirited company specializing in building tiny houses with high-quality wood and other sustainable materials.
There is a simple logic behind the eco-friendliness of tiny houses: The less space you use, the fewer resources you need (including wood, electricity, and heating). In the end, you have an ecological footprint that is far lower than any average house.
The ingenious architects of Green mobile make sure that living in a tiny house is just as comfortable as living in a big one. And they offer something unique: You can put your little home on wheels and move it. Have a look at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Where ideas can grow
The Ruhr area in Germany´s west has a long history of industrial production. Today it is also a showcase for sustainable transformation and innovative start-ups. Green.Innovation.Ruhr presents four of them at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL:

Sustainability starts with water
Water is next to air, our most precious resource. Starting in the 1960s, the manufacturer of sanitary devices Hansgrohe pioneered the responsible use of water and energy. With water-saving showerheads, environmentally friendly production methods, with initiatives to raise the awareness of consumers and society.
Hansgrohe undisputedly leads the industry in green progress. Read what the former CEO Klaus Grohe had to say as early as 1990: “Climate change is not a distant future; after all, it is a reality. The whole of society must contribute to reducing CO² emissions. We are setting the course today for the day after tomorrow.”
Welcome to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Happy Ocean Foods
Shrimps for vegans
Happy Ocean Foods
Overfishing is a clear and present danger to the oceans. So far, international agreements and regulations couldn´t stop this. So why not try out a pretty radical idea – and make seafood out of plants? The young start-up Happy Oceans sells shrimps that taste like shrimps, look like shrimps but haven´t been fished out of the water. Instead, the ingredients are harvested from plants – making the Happy Oceans shrimps the first ones that make environmentalists, vegans, and the oceans happy. The company was founded by Robin and Julian, two surfing enthusiasts who want to give back something to the elements they are enjoying so much. And we are pleased to welcome Happy Oceans to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Creating climate-neutral living space for generations
The aim is to create a living space for generations: this includes becoming climate-neutral. Heidelberg Cement is on this path. The greater the challenge, the greater the responsibilities and that is precisely what applies to concrete.
EcoCrete® with a reduced carbon footprint is a big step toward the climate goal.
EcoCrete® sustainable cement is 100% Heidelberg concrete in all its qualities. It is of the usual high quality and reliability, but has a new focus: sustainability through significant CO₂ reduction. This makes EcoCrete® the concrete of the next generation – for the next generations and for every project.
We are looking forward to having Heidelberg Cement as an exhibitor at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL this year.

Being a pioneer also means you never stop going ahead. Today, Hessnatur offers vegan fashion, bio-denim, eco-friendly dyes made of minerals, recycled jeans, and much more. Hessnatur shows how to drastically reduce the ecological impact of fashion and still look good.
We are pleased to have Hessnatur at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, and we are eager to see their new collection.
Hildebrand Energy AG
A geothermal revolution
Hildebrand Energy AG
Only a fraction of the heat stored in the earth’s crust, could solve our energy problems forever. Hildebrand has developed a sustainable, decentralized, highly efficient and minimally invasive technology that revolutionizes geothermal energy production.
Instead of pressurizing underground hot water deposits (and risk earthquakes), Hildebrand Energy drill small holes in the stable hot rock that is the earth´s crust. Through an elaborate pipe system using convection to exchange heat from rock to water hot steam is created. This hot steam can be used to generate energy, or for sector heating or to produce green hydrogen.
In the end you have a system that runs for at least 170 years and can be used almost anywhere. A great contribution to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
A green tech champion
Do you think Huawei makes only world-class mobile phones and computers? Think twice.
Huawei is also a green tech champion. Concerning CO2 reduction Huawei’s production of green energy and replacing fossil energy is equivalent to the planting of millions of trees. A whole range of technology boosts the transformation towards renewables: Huawei is one of the global market leaders in PV inverters. They recently entered the market of smart energy storage. Their intelligent PV optimizers make solar panels usable even in unfavorable, shady conditions. And this is just the beginning of a very long list of green innovations.
Do you want to know all about it? We recommend visiting Huawei at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.

Drinking water out of plain air
Functioning water supplies are scarce in many regions of the world.
But where others see a problem, the Imhotep Industries team around Walter Kreisel sees a challenge.
This is how the PHANTOR came into being. A mobile atmospheric water generator (AWG) the size of a container that harvests up to 10,000 liters of drinking water a day from the circulating air. This is enough to supply a hospital or residential building with drinking water permanently. But it also guarantees a reliable water supply in case of a disaster because it is suitable for stationary and semi-stationary use.
What a great solution! And welcome to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.

Of course, a successful transformation also includes the financial part. Janus Management AG has come up with a new way of financing that helps to get it done in a short time.
We look forward to having you at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL this year.
Walk the green talk
Juntos is a South-American shoe company aiming to make the most sustainable sneakers ever. And that´s how they do it: The upper parts of the sneakers are crafted from hypoallergenic and ultra-soft Alpaca fleece. A light, moisture-wicking material that gives your feet temperature regulating hugs.
The small Alpaca camels that provide the wool can live freely in their natural habitat. The insoles are plant-powered: Crafted from coconut fiber, they caress your feet while providing maximum breathability and insulation. The soles are made from recycled plastic that would otherwise have gone to waste.
We think Juntos is a perfect contribution to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Great clothing made of organic cotton
To fully appreciate KnowledgeCotton, you have to know things.
For example, did you know that conventional cotton production is responsible for many more greenhouse gases than air travel? Or that thousands of liters of precious water are used in arid regions just to make one t-shirt?
KnowledgeCotton is the pioneer of organic cotton.
That means no pesticides, only grown in regions with sufficient rainwater and much lower CO2 emissions.KnowledgeCotton makes cool, casual clothing from organic cotton. Clothes to wear to look good and with a clear conscience.
We welcome again our friends from Scandinavia to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Charging infrastructure from A to Z

Good for the oceans and your feet
Kulson sneakers are truly sustainable. There is no new plastic used anywhere. Instead, Kulson works with a variety of recycled components. For example, all soles are made of 70% recycled rubber and rice husks. Production takes place in Europe, controlled and transparent every step of the way.
For each pair of sneakers, Kulson donates 4% of the revenue to organizations dedicated to removing plastic and lost fishing nets from oceans.
Their mission is clear: Be mindful with your footwear and save the oceans at the same time.
We are happy to have Kulson at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
The beauty of the future
L’Oréal is a beauty company that truly walks the talk in green progress. Here are some examples: 78% less CO2 emissions overall since 2005. 14 factories that are completely climate neutral.
Creating over 90.000 jobs for disadvantaged communities. And being the only company in the world that reaches CDP A-levels in climate, water, and forestry for four years in a row. These are just the achievements of L’Oréal until now.
Expect more future-forward solutions at our exhibition. For example, a stunning innovation that helps to save water. See for yourself how L’Oréal is shaping the beauty of the future – first-hand at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Tableware made from palm leaves
Disposable dishes and sustainability did not go together until LEEF fundamentally changed this. Disposable plates and bowls by LEEF are made of palm leaves that fell naturally to the ground. A palm leaf does not have to be specially cultivated and processed. It is easily compostable and contains only nature as an ingredient. No energy is wasted to produce it.
LEEF products are just borrowed from nature, reshaped a little and returned directly after use. Besides, they have a feel and stability far superior to conventional disposable plastic tableware. What a great way to fight the ever-growing mountains of plastic waste. And what a great contribution to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Make sure you invest green

From the sustainable use of water to cleaner and virus-free indoor air. We are happy to have MANN+HUMMEL at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Perfectly sized parcels
Have you wondered why many parcels are far too big for the items they contain? Here is the solution: The startup Manyfolds has developed a system that creates size-optimized and environmentally friendly shipping packaging.
Via image recognition, an app determines the size of the goods to be shipped. Then the cutting patterns of the optimal parcel are generated automatically. You can either use compact rental machines or an external production service to produce the packages.
Filling materials are no longer required, the pricing model is transparent. And most important: Less air in the packaging enables direct reductions in logistics traffic and significant CO2 savings. Altogether this is another great innovation to be seen at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.

How to get rid of old cars sustainably
Over a billion four-wheel vehicles are on the road globally. Unfortunately, most of them trouble the environment not only when they are running but also when they are disposed of.
The Swiss car recycling company MCR is about to change that. They have invented a technology that lowers the amount of hazardous waste and emissions significantly when disassembling an old car.
Usually, car carcasses are shredded, and most non-metal material is buried in landfills. However, MCR slowly melts the car body separating materials that are hard to retrieve, like plastic or insulating material. So recycling is maximized, and material that cannot be used again is safely burnt, generating energy. Learn more about MCR at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.

Full of fun and fully electric
The MINI has always been a car to fall in love with. Small, agile, with an incomparable design the MINI is not only a car but a lifestyle. For over 60 years, the MINI remained faithful to its character even though its technology was updated.
That is true for the first fully electric MINI, too. It is more eco-friendly than any other of its relatives, but it is unmistakably a Mini.
At the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, you can see how MINI the electric revolution can be with your own eyes. You can also learn much about how manufacturing of the MINI becomes more and more sustainable.
The stone paper revolution
Stone paper is the sustainable alternative to normal “pulp” paper. It is a sustainable, tree-free type of paper that mainly consists of crushed stone (Calcium Carbonate).
During the production of stone paper, no water and bleaching agents are used, which ensures, among other things, 67% lower CO2 emissions. Still, it is bendable and feels like paper. Moreover, if you use stone paper with a special MOYU pen, you can erase your writings about 500 times without damaging the paper, making it great for notebooks.
Have a look at the fantastic products of MOYU at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.

Brush your teeth with tablets
Today, we brush our teeth with synthetic chemicals that we can’t even pronounce, packaged in unnecessary plastic.
Natch thinks it’s time for a real change. They believe in the superpowers of Mother Earth when it comes to brushing teeth. So instead of paste, you get tablets. Instead of plastic packaging, you get a small glass container. Unlike typical commercial toothpaste, all the ingredients of Natch tablets are classified as food grade. That’s how to clean your teeth with antimicrobial and detoxifying properties from natural sources, without harsh chemicals.
The people of Natch are convinced once you try Natch, you won’t go back to the tube. So have a try at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.

Building a home on the moon with waste
Some ideas sound a bit crazy at first, but they are brilliant when you look closely. Here is one: There are plans to build a permanent station on the moon. But why lift tons of material into space when it is already out there?
Thousands of tons of space debris are orbiting the earth. High-quality materials that just need a little push to be directed to the moon’s surface. Here you can reuse them to build anything you need out there.
That’s the plan of Orbit Recycling, a genuinely innovative team we are glad to have at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
A green highway
What was the last truly new category in transportation? The Zeppelin? Well, here is the newest: ottobahn. Imagine spacey gondolas attached to a track system lifted 5 to 10 meters above the ground. Gondolas that can make 60 km/h in cities and 250 km/h in between cities. Energy consumption is only 10% of electric cars. You may own your own Gondola, which can be parked at your destination. Sounds a bit fantastic? The prototype circuit is being built in Munich. And the makers are not science fiction authors but renowned engineers. And they are happy to talk to you and answer your questions at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.

Reducing waste smartly
Companies spend millions on waste management every year. Unfortunately, a lot of this money is literally wasted since this job is too complex to be handled by often outdated systems.
Resourcify is the leading software for waste management optimization. Resourcify earned this position by covering the whole process with smart digital tools. From collecting, separating, transporting, storing, or processing residual materials to managing recycling or disposal service providers. Everything happens with automated, digital workflows that allow businesses to recycle more, reduce costs, and turn waste into marketable and valuable materials.
Resourcifys’ ambition is to enable any business to achieve zero-waste goals. And this makes Resourcify a very welcome participant of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Keeping it in the value chain
In industry, change is the normal state of affairs. That means machines are replaced, new vehicles are purchased, office technology is updated, and so on. But, on the other hand, some companies need precisely what others no longer want. And to ensure that sellers and buyers find each other, there is Restlos.
Keeping assets in the value chain makes economic sense. And it is sustainable, too, because it is about using products for as long as possible, thus avoiding waste and unnecessary use of precious resources and energy.
A concept that also makes Restlos an ideal exhibitor at the Greentech Festival.
Enabling Green Change
Using the power of digitization to become sustainable is a goal most companies share. SAP is a company with the right tools and mindset to help others succeed.
The German software giant aims for zero waste, zero emissions, and zero inequality. To do that, they focus on climate action, circular economy, social responsibility, and holistic steering and reporting.
In SAP´s portfolio, you find many solutions to drive sustainability at scale. The overall logic is simple: If businesses go green, the whole world will go green – because almost everything we use or consume comes from businesses.
It is great to have an enabler of green change like SAP at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.

SHAVENT is an elegantly designed full-fledged swing-head razor. It combines all the comfort and the safe and gentle shave of the well-known swing-head razors with the advantages of classic razor blades. Only it looks better, feels better, and is a perfect contribution to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Turn-around for a carbon-neutral future
Fundamental change is a must to stop climate change. This is especially true for those who provide the fuel for a fossil-addicted civilization. Shell is undertaking big steps to become an agent of change.
This shows in large investments in wind parks, charging points for EVs, gas-to-liquid plants, hydrogen production, smart grids, battery solutions and more. The ambitious goal is to become a leading provider of green energy soon and turn carbon neutral in 2050 completely.
Shell wants to convince everyone that an all-hands-on-deck approach is best for the mutual goal of stopping climate change. An approach that makes Shell a valuable partner of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, too.

Electric mobility for everyone
Škoda has always had the reputation of building great and innovative cars that are affordable. This won’t change in the era of EVs.
And the rollout of the first models has already begun. What we have seen so far is Škoda at its best: Brilliant performance, a love for details, and an overall design that always has the driver in mind. Škoda places particular emphasis on its own responsibility for compliance with legal standards, internal regulations, ethical principles and voluntary commitments.
We are looking forward to seeing Škoda at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL. And we are already curious about what they will show.

Communication is essential to get green messages across. We are proud to have a truly dedicated communicator, STRÖER, as a partner and exhibitor.
STRÖER gives us the thousands of billboards and other media we need to roll the drum for the GREENTECH FESTIVAL. A big thank you for that. And STRÖER shows how to make out-of-home advertising greener all over our cities. For example, with “city furniture” – like bus stations with plants on their roofs.
Or by drastically reducing waste with digital screens that replace paper billboards. Or by energizing more and more venues with solar energy. Expect more great innovations from STRÖER and their partners.
The super nutty nut spread
Everyone loves nut spread. However, in most of these spreads, the nuts are a minority compared to palm oil, sugar, and other not-so-nice stuff.
Supernutural shows how tasty a nuts-only spread can be and how sustainable it can be made. Their secret is a nut crunching machine that works with a simple principle: 100% nuts in and 100% nut spread out. Yummie! They lend their nut grinder to shops, hotels, restaurants, and other outlets where the spread can be eaten immediately.
We can’t wait to taste our freshly made nut spread at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.

The Green Network
Green events, culture and stories.
The Green Network
You get a first-hand experience of the great work of The Green Network when you are at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL. They are one of the partners that make the festival happen. The Green Network (TGN) is an event agency that goes beyond being an event agency.
Their focus is to make sustainability a true experience. So their concepts include storytelling and how to implement green thinking in corporate culture. And of course, everything they plan and do is completely sustainable.
This spirit of TGN is all over the festival and we truly appreciate our partnership.
How to market innovation

A casual and sustainable companion
Paper bags have become an icon for shopping sustainably. However, average paper bags don’t last long and need to be recycled soon. What about a paper bag that you can use everyday, and that is sooo much more stylish?
That’s what the designers had in mind and the paperbag is what they came up with: A stylish shopper made of durable paper, that already contains a lot of good things. FSC-certified paper made from resistant cellulose-latex blend on the outside. Regenerated ECONYL® yarn as sustainable techno-fabric inside.
Sensually the paperbag feels like leather; it is flexible and ultra-light, yet robust, washable up to 30° and ready for any adventure. And, of course, ready for the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Selling you less electricity
Tibber is not your average energy provider. Instead of making money by selling you more electricity, the Tibber business model is based on selling you less of the precious juice.
Tibber was founded with the goal of “empowering” the consumer. The Tibber technology helps people buy electricity from a renewable source, reduce their electricity consumption, and feed excess energy and flexibility back into the grid. All through an app. Control is literally in your hands.
Tibber was founded in 2016 and has been growing rapidly ever since. Today, the Tibber team consists of over 180 energy rebels spread across offices in Berlin, Førde, Helsinki, Stockholm, and Amsterdam. And we are also glad to have Tibber at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Make unusable useful
Trash Galore rescues materials from events and provides them to charitable initiatives. In this way, you ensure that reusable materials remain in the cycle and that leftovers become raw materials again.
Trash Galore’s service reduces waste, avoids CO2 emissions and supports a social initiative. The positive impact of each event is transparently documented by Trash Galore and prepared in the form of a sustainability report.
Not only the event of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL can be made more sustainable this way – but also many others. And that is why we are happy to have Trash Galore with us this year.
Ecological and social impact by growing trees
Treedom is an organization that gives every one of us the opportunity to grow a tree from a distance and follow the story of the project online. This is done not only to capture CO2 but also for the local environmental and social benefits.
Treedom identifies suitable trees species that optimally benefit the ecosystem they will grow in. After planting the trees, Treedom makes sure the trees are well-taken care of by the smallholder farmers during their life span. They, in return, benefit from the tree’s fruits.
As a tree sponsor, you get a photo and the geo coordinates when your tree is planted, as well as updates from the project in which your tree grows. You can keep the tree for yourself, or gift it to anybody as a special, sustainable present. Treedom is a great contributor to the fight against climate change and is very welcome at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Urban Tech Republic
Urban Tech Republic
The former Tegel Airport is making room for the growing Berlin. A research and industrial park for urban technologies is being built here: “Berlin TXL – The Urban Tech Republic. With this site, Berlin is getting back a piece of the city and gaining space for industry, commerce and science. And it’s only 15 minutes from the seat of government of Europe’s most important industrial nation.
The focus of the innovation park is on what keeps the growing metropolises of the 21st century alive. This is where urban technologies are researched, developed, produced, tested and exported. This is where science and research meet industry and commerce, and start-ups meet investors. And everyone is working together on solutions for the cities of tomorrow.

Saving energy with nothing
What is a vacuum? Nothing! This makes it a perfect insulator because no molecules allow energy transmission.
va-Q-tec has been pioneering vacuum technology since 2001, creating energy efficient, space-saving and environmentally friendly vacuum insulation panels (VIPs) that insulate around ten times better than conventional fiber or foam insulation. Furthermore, va-Q-tec manufactures passive thermal packaging solutions (containers & boxes), which offer constant temperature conditions, typically for 4 to 10 days.
va-Q-techs solutions can be foundin refrigeration and freezer appliances, buildings, technology & industry, and automobiles and aircraft. We are happy to have this truly innovative company at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Delicious vegan food
Veganz is a vegan food company that does a lot to make veganism popular. Founded 11 years ago in Berlin Veganz colorful products are sold today in their own supermarket chain.
Veganz’s wide range of delicious food is loved by vegan pros and makes it easy for beginners to start a vegan lifestyle. Which is good for everyone and our planet. Just read this excerpt from their website.
“By eating an all-plant diet, you can save 4,200 liters of water per day, save 3.8 square meters of the forest as well as 1 animal and skip a whopping 4.5kg of CO2.” A lot of good reasons to welcome Veganz at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Ethical textiles from Mexico
Mexico enjoys one of the most rich plant-based cosmetics traditions. It’s biodiversity and ancient botanical knowledge are enormous, but this is mostly unknown to the outside world. VIVA MAIA’s mission is to bring these fascinating Mexican Beauty Secrets to Europe.
They are the first brand offering the age-old Mesoamerican wisdom with cruelty-free and organic skincare products, all carbon-neutral. VIVA MAIA also has a positive social impact by giving hundreds of Mexican outcasts a second opportunity in life.
On top of that, they sponsor social projects for disadvantaged people in Mexico. All this together makes Viva Maia a great new entry for the GREENTECH FESTIVAL exhibition.
A second life for batteries
Electric mobility is on the rise, and millions of powerful batteries are produced now and in the future. But what happens with these batteries when they grow old?
Voltfang has an excellent circular solution for that. Used batteries usually have a residual capacity of over 80% when they are discarded. 80% capacity may not be enough for an EV but more than sufficient for stationary storage systems. These systems are in dire need to stabilize grids and power homes during the nighttime.
Giving used EV batteries a new life is a perfect way to help the energy transition succeed and lower the ecological footprint of battery lifecycles. Welcome Voltfang to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
We think ahead - especially with sustainability
If you want to stay young, you have to set big goals. And achieve them. As the Austrian market leader, Vöslauer bears a great responsibility for the environment and society.
That is why you have been consistently committed to the topics of recycling, sustainability and the environment for years. Vöslauer are constantly working on new approaches and solutions – many of which you will reach sooner than planned.Since 2020, Vöslauer has been a CO2-neutral company and has set a goal to reduce CO2 emissions by another 28% by 2030 compared to 2019 and to replace 80% of natural gas with renewable energy.
We welcome the pioneer of mineral water to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Wings for Living
Blades to sit on
Wings for Living
Wings for living gives discarded wind turbine rotor blades a second life – in the form of outdoor furniture. This is an excellent idea since the composite materials of rotor blades are hard to recycle ordinarily. In the next five years, about 14,000 square meters of blades will have to be demolished and dismantled – and provide the raw material for innovative and aesthetic accessories designed by Wings for living.
By upcycling the wind turbines, the current team of three therefore also sees itself as part of a sustainable solution for clean energy.
And gives another example of how creativity can start a circular economy approach in any sector. Welcome to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.

WSSB der TU München
Circular Bio-Economy for true sustainability
WSSB der TU München
The Werner Siemens-chair at the technical university of Munich develops cutting-edge technologies in the field of circular bio-economy. Using biomass to create materials and energy has many advantages: It is relatively easy to achieve carbon neutrality. Biodiversity and ecosystems can be sustained.
And the processes are designed to be circular – so everything that is taken out will be put back to form a sustainable loop. A special focus of the Munich scientists is economic feasibility.
So science can become applicable for widespread use. We welcome the team with their 4S mission (Science-Systems-Sustainability-Solutions) at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
The nuts and bolts of green change
Würth Elektronik is the world’s leading producer of assembling technology like screws and fasteners. With the help of over 71.000 employees, Würth Elektronik expanded in many other areas of technology.
One of these off-springs is Würth Elektronik eiSos Group. They are pioneering electronic solutions in fields like e-mobility. And here they are, speeding up things with their support for the Abt Schaeffler Formula E Team.
There are many other boxes Würth Elektronik is checking as a leader in green tech. We are pleased to welcome Würth Elektronik to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Fighting the good fight
With clever conservation concepts, innovative ideas, and convincing participatory offers, WWF wants to enable future generations to live a good life on earth. Since its founding, WWF has implemented more than 13,000 projects worldwide. More than five million people have supported it in the process.
And you are invited to join, too: Make a statement at Earth Hour. Or by sponsoring a tiger. Protect regions such as the Amazon as a supporting member. Sign the petition against the plastic flood. Or donate to an endangered species. Environmental protection has many faces. Our planet needs them all!
We are happy to have a dedicated exhibitor like WWF at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
XPRESS Ventures (Fiege)
XPRESS Ventures (Fiege)
We are happy to have a truly dedicated company from the logistics sector at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
Five generations of the Fiege-family have built one of Europe’s leading logistics companies. Their successful combination of economy and ecology helped coin the word “eco-logistics” by Fiege. Their efforts show in many ways: Putting vast numbers of solar panels on their buildings. Cooperating with others to avoid empty runnings. Together with clients they strive to reduce CO2 emissions as much as possible.
Some projects are ripe to have a long-term impact on eco-logistics: Combining expertise of startups and internal data to gain transparency of CO2 emissions along the supply chain with the ultimate goal of total compensation.
Green Energy & Reycling
Future forward energies – which means every type of green energy with a focus on wind power – is the business of zWe. This includes recycling high-quality materials when, for example, a windmill has reached the end of its lifetime.
Dipl.-Ing. André Winkler and Uwe Schwill started zWe Ingenieure GbR in January 2001. The founders combine mechanical engineering expertise and civil engineering skills, which turned out to be a perfect match for tackling the challenges of green energy from an early stage.
The company has expanded its scope of work in the green energy field but remained faithful to its principles: Concentrating on ambitious projects and dedication to realizing them successfully. Welcome to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.
