On May 20, 2025, the GREEN AWARDS were presented for the 18th time at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL – this year as an exclusive dinner gala at the Palais of Messe Berlin. Three pioneering companies were honored for their innovative contributions to sustainable transformation.
1KOMMA5° won in the Energy & Infrastructure category for its integrated clean energy solutions, from photovoltaics to heat pumps. DeepDrive took the award for Mobility & Transport with its dual-rotor motor technology, boosting EV efficiency and reducing resource use. In Industry & Materials, Dunia Innovations was recognized for its AI-powered “self-driving labs” that accelerate the development of sustainable materials.

Federal Minister Dorothee Bär will speak at the Green Awards, honoring innovative projects. On Wednesday, the Governing Mayor of Berlin, Kai Wegner, will deliver an official welcome address to the conference audience. On Thursday, Franziska Brantner, Co-Chair of Alliance 90/The Greens, will join Maja Göpel and Cathryn Clüver Ashbrook in the panel “Trump, Trade Shocks and Sustainability – What’s Next for EU Business?” to discuss current geopolitical challenges and the future of European enterprises. Additional members of the German Bundestag will take the stage on both conference days to speak on a variety of topics.
