Accordingly, instead of cherry-picking materials that are easy to handle, their approach is to help companies transform all their waste into useful stuff for others. Connecting those companies who could perfectly supplement their businesses – if they only knew each another.
The RESTLOS approach of comprehensive recycling and adding value is good for the environment and good for business at the same time.

At first glimpse, Seacycler looks like a cool, sporty boat. But if you look closer, you’ll discover something extraordinary: Seacycler has two sets of pedals. And it has an electric engine plus batteries. Which gives it power, unlike any other pedal boat.
With a maximum speed of 20 knots (equals 37 km/h), you not only leave ordinary swan-shaped pedal boats far behind, but you are also competing for ordinary motorboats. Like with an e-bike, you can adjust the support of the engine to gain reach. But while e-bikes are a common sight, Seacycler is the first of its kind.
Send me pack
Send me pack is the first recycling system for existing shipping packaging. Send me pack reduces the mountain of packaging waste in e-commerce by rescuing shipping packaging that has already been in circulation, reprocessing it, and bringing it back into circulation.
The company has established the first Germany-wide network of return stations for its packaging. In this way, a single-use product becomes a circular one that can be used for as long as possible.
Users can track how much CO2 has been avoided and learn about this exemplary system’s other positive environmental impacts.
Fundamental change is a must to stop climate change. This is especially true for those who provide the fuel for a fossil-addicted civilization. Shell is undertaking big steps to become an agent of change.
This shows in large investments in wind parks, charging points for EVs, gas-to-liquid plants, hydrogen production, smart grids, battery solutions and more. The ambitious goal is to become a leading provider of green energy soon and turn carbon neutral in 2050 completely.
Shell wants to convince everyone that an all-hands-on-deck approach is best for the mutual goal of stopping climate change.

Communication is essential to get green messages across. We are proud to have a truly dedicated communicator, STRÖER, as a partner and exhibitor. STRÖER gives us the thousands of billboards and other media we need to roll the drum for the GREENTECH FESTIVAL. A big thank you for that.
And STRÖER shows how to make out-of-home advertising greener all over our cities. For example, with “city furniture” – like bus stations with plants on their roofs. Mann+ Hummel is present on site as their partner for air filtration.
Also sustainable: drastic waste reduction with digital screens that replace paper billboards. Energizing more and more venues with solar energy.
Expect more great innovations from STRÖER and its partner.

The Technical University of Munich develops cutting-edge technologies in the field of circular bio-economy. Using biomass to create materials and energy has many advantages: It is relatively easy to achieve carbon neutrality. Biodiversity and ecosystems can be sustained. And the processes are designed to be circular, so everything taken out will be put back to form a sustainable loop.
A particular focus of the Munich scientists is economic feasibility. So science can become applicable for widespread use. Or, to use their terminology, they are on a 4S mission: Creating Science-Systems-Sustainability-Solutions.

Vattenfall, one of Europe’s largest producers and retailers of electricity and heat, is on a mission to make fossil-free living a reality. Their approach is to combine green energy supply with groundbreaking, transformational ideas. Ideas that will fundamentally change transport, industries, and heating.
You can see how this works at the GREENTECH Festival: For example, by having a look at the CLEANEST DIRT BIKE ever. A project brought to life by Vattenfall and its partner CAKE, a Swedish maker of premium lightweight electric motorcycles. The idea here is to create a stunning electric motorbike and remove CO2 from each link in the supply chain while building it.
Wings for Living
The more wind turbines age, the more recycling them becomes an issue. Especially rotor blades, with their composite materials, pose a tough challenge. Wings for Living, a young start-up, has an ingenious solution. They simply use old rotor blades’ rugged, high-quality material to make outdoor furniture. So after serving for 25 years or more to supply green energy, the blades can retire as chairs, benches, or tables.
At the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, you can see how good this looks and how much CO2 can be saved by simply giving a complex material a new use.
