Dr. Philip Lettmann, born in 1965, studied Business Administration in Cologne, Paris, Oxford and Berlin. Before joining WALA (https://www.wala.world/en/) in 2004 Dr. Philip Lettmann held a senior position within a private equity firm in Germany, specialized in the financing of midsize growth companies. With Dr. Hauschka / WALA Group he started as the director of the Infrastructure & Supply Department, which included overseeing the areas of finance, planning, logistics and IT. Until 2020, he was CFO of WALA. In July 2020, he became a member of the Board of Directors of WALA foundation (https://wala-stiftung.de/en/), the owner of the WALA Group. Since 2021 he holds the chairmanship of the Excecutive Board of WALA Heilmittel GmbH.

Peter Renner is a political scientist with emphasis on international policy. For nearly 30 years he has worked in the areas of technical assistance, economic and development cooperation. His duties have taken him to Eastern Europe, Central Asia, South Caucasus, Africa. He worked as chair of a foundation for development cooperation with a staff of 650. He is familiar with the challenges of project work in the areas of development cooperation and climate policy – especially Nature-based Solutions.

Dr. Christine Lemaitre, born in 1975 in Gießen, studied structural engineering in Stuttgart. After working in the USA, she pursued R&D in lightweight structures. She received her doctorate in 2008. Since 2010, she has been CEO of the German Sustainable Building Council, shaping sustainable architecture worldwide.

Professor Lisa Wilson is a multi-award-winning international business leader, entrepreneur and innovator, focused on the fields of risk, emergent technologies, blockchain, SMEs, climate, ESG, cybersecurity and digital assets. Professor Wilson’s career is broad across finance, health, ageing and heavy industry including delivering solutions for mining and resources and is credited with being one of the world’s top 20 thought leaders and influencers on blockchain, ESG, EdTech and cryptocurrency for many years. Currently Professor Wilson is developing financial instruments for institutional markets that align to advisory on the origination, structuring, financing, and carbon optimisation of large-scale, capital-intensive infrastructure and climate projects.

Before Robert Nave took over the management of GHT, he worked as a Junior Partner at the management and strategy consultancy McKinsey & Company. There, the business graduate and former J.P. Morgan investment banker supported companies in green transformation processes and decarbonization programs. His focus was on energy transition strategies and the future supply of hydrogen and clean energy.

Corinna Tappe is an experienced intrapreneur with experience in consulting, corporate and start-up world. She is an enthusiastic networker and is passionate about sustainability and digitalization. After founding her own startup and holding management positions, e.g. at the renowned NGO Startup Teens, she now promotes innovations and sustainable business models in the field of green technologies as CEO of Green Tech Hub.

Steffen serves as the Head of Innovation & Sustainability at Hansgrohe SE, making him one of the creative minds behind the Black Forest-based sanitation company. He has been leading various product and innovation departments within the company. As the head of the “Green Company” transformation team and the InnoLab, Steffen accelerates the green transformation of the traditional company while simultaneously aiding the Venture Team in evaluating and supporting startups in the European GreenTech sector to derive strategic investment recommendations for the Corporate Venture Fund. Steffen’s expertise extends beyond Hansgrohe. He serves as a guest lecturer at the University of St. Gallen and is a jury member for the GreenAwards and the German Gründerpreis.

Dr. Dennis Bauer is CEO of HyWin Deutschland GmbH, realizing a facade solution with integrated sunshield, cooling and heating functions. She was most recently Scientific Director at The New Institute and Secretary General of the German Advisory Council on Global Change (WBGU).
